The social club and members of the directive board participated in Solsona’s Festa Major, celebrated with a high participation and attendance of visitants from outside of Solsona and of people from Solsona, giving tribute to our Mare de Déu del Claustre, patron saint of Solsona..

These days are days of fostering of friends and family, underlining with faith and hope these family values so necessary for the living together of nowadays.

Our patron saint, with her materialization of a spirit guards the people of Solsona, as a supreme mother, she guards all of us.

El Sol del Solsonès expresses that for the immense importance of Solsona’s Festa Major it be declared of patrimonial interest.

Our photographer, Lluís Closa, has collected symbolic moments of the celebration with an archive of about thousand photos. This photographer has specialized through the photography workshops carried out for the last three years given by the photography professional Josep Llàtzer. Through the perseverance of the social club we are in possession of people experienced in several specialities.

We thank the local and regional authorities for the good organization of the Festa Mayor, as well as the presence of the authorities of the Generalitat, Government of Catalonia, and of our ecclesiastic authorities.
