The goals of el Sol del Solsonès, as an association of mentally ill and drug addicts relatives are:
1. Offer support and assessment to the relatives of people with mental illness and drug addiction.
2. Detect the needs at the level of community care of people with mental illness and drug addiction and their relatives, and transfer them to the institutions with competences in their planning and development.
3. Promote the creation of social and therapeutic services and work services
for people with mental illness and drug addiction, and the creation of services
of orientation and support for their relatives.
4. Collaborate with the public and private institutions in order to achieve resources that respond to the needs of this group of people contributing to the improvement of the care, rehabilitation and social and occupational insertion of people with mental illness and drug addiction.
5. Make the population more sensitive about the reality of the mental illness
and drug addiction, trying to break the stereotypes and disinformation.
